Whereas the final Volume of Part 4 (Volume 47) was halved to feature the next Jojo, the way that DP handled the ending to the series really hammered down the feel of the homely town of Morioh. While a few visual hiccups, just a handful, were present, I think the music and the line delivery were at their very best and I can confidently say that the adaptation wasn’t a disappointment. Congratulations David Productions, you’re going 4 for 4.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4- Diamond is Unbreakable Episode 26- Cooling off

So after nearly 5 episodes of Kira goodness, we take a break from our chase and move on to the 2nd half of Part 4 proper with the new set of Stand users made by Yoshihiro and the arrow. This week, it’s Rohan’s little bout with Ken and I will say that the quality definitely dipped with how much dedication they gave to Kira and honestly, this “fight” is only exciting in the last 1/3rd of it anyway. I will also note that they didn’t do Josuke’s little dot eyes when he greets Rohan at the start, as well as Rohan’s little cold shoulder to Joseph when they start their conversation.

Anyway, let’s get to JAAAAAAAAAAAANKEN HOI

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4- Diamond is Unbreakable Episode 22- Explosion

My faith with David Production has gone far and beyond satisfying my expectations. D.P has seem to have prioritized a majority of good scenes for this episode which more than makes up for how Killer Queen looked up in the far-away shot last week. To make it better, I now see why they tackled Yukako and Cinderella earlier because the conclusion of this episode sent us straight into Sheer Heart Attack, which I can’t wait to see.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4- Diamond is Unbreakable Episode 20- Fairy Tale

One more week til we shift gears properly to match chase.

In many ways, I can see why they would move this episode ahead of Kira’s formal introduction. There was only one “arc” that separated Kira’s introduction to his actual encounter with the main crew so having this little love-story in between didn’t keep the tension up. It’s honestly a change for the better since it’s another week I won’t have to wait to get to Sheer Heart Attack. It also helps to have Shigechi’s character sink in so there’s that.

Anyway, let’s get to Cinderella.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4- Diamond is Unbreakable Episode 9: Act Two

Yukako’s arc comes to and end and we “conclude” on the smaller portions of the first half of Part 4, at least not counting next week’s episode which happens to be one of my most anticipated “fights” after Keicho’s Bad Company. We still have one more regular character introduction in the future but we’ll get there when the time comes so let’s focus on our resident yandere for now.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4- Diamond is Unbreakable Episode 8: Yukako is a hottie

Praise to you DavidPro, you’ve made one of the scariest girls in the entire series look beautiful as well as made her sound so heavenly. But the scary part is that they actually did all that good stuff on Yukako. Araki’s style of female characters never really struck me all that hard but Yukako was definitely scary as all hell when she freaked out and her scariest levels of facial expressions haven’t surfaced yet.

But yeah, I’m still taken aback at how fast Koichi’s development occurs with how quick the gap between The Lock and the 2nd part of Yukako’s introduction turns out.
