Fall 2015 Harem Challenge Part 3: Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon- Silver Link’s Guide on Wasted Potential

Here it is, the final contender for our Harem Challenge, Anti Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon.

And before anyone asks, yes I skipped a week of episodes but oh well, not much worth mentioning happened.

Normally, Light novel adaptations that are rushed never bother me. This is primarily because I don’t read that many light novels because I am aware through my own research and experiences to know that most of them are honestly the same. Even through my friends am I told that some light novels are completely beyond help and I have begun to despise the very setting “reincarnating in a different” world setting, as well as the RPG-ish setting with stat buffs and the likes. Truth be told, the main problem lies with actual translation works as well, with some of the things I’d want to read not being translated or something similar. So it’s safe to say, most of the time, I’m indifferent to LN adaptations.

To the best of my abilities, I will try to be unbiased as possible. But even so, there’s a lot to discuss. So what in the hell went wrong? Well let’s get down to it.

What a week to be alive.

Faith has been restored but what comes after it might prove to either continue the hype train or make it come to a screeching, burning halt. How fitting that the episode I looked forward to the most actually trumped every other episode.

One Punch Man and Shomin Sample take it for this week with tearjerking heroism and more KING ARTHUR.

The Harem Trio still remains decidedly biased but even I know some shoddy things when I see it.

We hit a peak and we reach a low, it’s not exactly a contest worth being mentioned but there a few points to be brought to attention. Why did I try to hard to make that last part rhyme? It was a surprisingly full week since I have the most pictures for this week’s batch but not all was great but hey, it gave me a bit to think about. Whether or not that’s good or bad thoughts stirring is up to you to find out.

It was an alright week. Although, both the series I’ve gotten into didn’t deliver properly on the scenes I wanted to see. But we continue through the halfway point of the season and I admit, I kind of missed doing this every week and I’m enjoying myself a lot more than I thought  I would. Most of that is probably because I got myself in two new series. Anyways, let’s get on our way.

Rarely has two series drawn me in deeper into their respective rabbit hole but it finally happened.

Just keep on chugging.

Shinmai got dropped, all it’s good for is just for images and there’s really no need to have more of it when it isn’t really needed. The two harems remain but mostly for comparison and to see if any of these show something interesting later on, as is usually the case for light novels. The rest I’ve enjoyed remain the same.
