Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 28: Superstition

Ever wonder why the Boss is so fixated on Abbacchio’s abilities?

Remember when Mista was complaining about 4 pieces of cake and Abbacchio took one? That 2nd one was completely David Pro’s works and I praise their decisions, except for one, in making all these small additions to make Part 5 that much more enjoyable. If this episode lets you know one thing, it’s that we’re officially at the part where anyone can potentially die now.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 24: Big Poppa

You just know if the Jojo crew get on a plane that it’s going to be trouble. Confined space fights for the absolute win, but I can tell you right now that train fights will always be better than airplanes.

If I remember correctly, Part 5 is going to share the same episode count as Part 4 so we’ve got 15 episodes left, with around two fights to go that’s not including this one before we reach the rather lengthy end-game. Oh, and I guess we can’t forget the Rolling Stones epilogue either so we’re not in shortage of episodes to cover all of that.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 23: Playing Chicken

Every episode and I realize how close we are to the ending. There’s only two more fights to really cover before we get our lengthy final battle which can basically be summarized as two fights to begin with. Actually, no, there’s Nero we need to see too.

Every fight with Mista involves him getting shot with his own bullets while Narancia’s enemies seem to always find a creative use for blood. Then again, Ghihaccio did that too. Anyways, despite me loving the Clash’s abilities, I never did find myself liking this fight all too much, even if this fight is something I have better memory of compared to Oasis and Green Day coming up later.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 18: Half and Half

Melone only lasted up to half of the episode.

And the more I hear Ghihaccio talk the happier I am to keep in mind how this is Bakugo’s voice screaming about semantics. I have to say that Vento Aureo is doing an amazing job weaving multiple arcs together and they certainly wasted no time moving past Melone and covering a good half of the White Album fight. While a great fight, it is rather short since we only got one guy to deal with compared to the whopping 3-parter Prosciutto and Pesci got.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 13: Say Good Night

So here I was thinking I’d have to do double the episodes since I was preoccupied for most of last week but good news and bad news abound. The good news being that I don’t have to pull double duty after all since Episode 14 would have marked a new season for other non-multi cour shows so instead we got a recap episode that really doesn’t need coverage. The bad news is that I have to wait a few more days to watch what might be my favorite fight in Jojo ever and certainly it’s my favorite fight from Part 5 be finally animated.

Let’s see if Fugo does anything else after this in this adaptation.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 7: Dancing All Night

People have waited years for a certain set of panels to be adapted and we definitely got something.

I definitely didn’t think they’d go for a full sequence off of just on 5 panels but they went above and beyond anyone’s expectations with that dance. Even after watching it again, I’m at a loss for words on how to exactly describe it. Some clearer shots of the actual dance moves might have been better but I’m not complaining after that.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 5&6: Enter the Gangstars

It could have been worse but looks like this will end up as a double-feature since it was a pretty busy past weekend and week. Much to my surprise, we’re still not off the boat ride even after Episode 6 so I guess they’re planning on doing Sale’s fight in one go which does fit better to my memory because they were definitely on that boat for a while. Abacchio gets his origin story a couple fights earlier compared to when the manga decided to drop this story on us. Originally, we would have gotten his story during the Man in the Mirror but I guess it makes sense in hindsight to give Abacchio his time now since Man in the Mirror is Fugo’s first and only fight so David Pro is probably prepping that for him.

Don’t think I missed Abacchio getting some cake, David Pro, I see what you fucking did there.
