Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 18: Half and Half

Melone only lasted up to half of the episode.

And the more I hear Ghihaccio talk the happier I am to keep in mind how this is Bakugo’s voice screaming about semantics. I have to say that Vento Aureo is doing an amazing job weaving multiple arcs together and they certainly wasted no time moving past Melone and covering a good half of the White Album fight. While a great fight, it is rather short since we only got one guy to deal with compared to the whopping 3-parter Prosciutto and Pesci got.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 17: The Fight between Greats

I’ll be honest.

Babyface lies between two of my favorite fights in this entire part and I’ve gone back to read those said fights so much that I kind of forgot what Babyface’s fight involved aside from Melone being creepy and using a computer-stand to create a Stand after harassing some poor woman. I forgot its powers were this scary after it came to be.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 16: Almost Perfect

Despite everything that was going right, there were some slight choices in this episode that I felt weakened the overall experience of my favorite fight in this part. These points occurred at the very end of the fight where 1. Pesci’s attempts to ruse Buccellati having him focus on him trying to smash the turtle the ground while he actually went inside it to kill the rest of the crew was cut out. I feel that undermines Pesci’s development as with the whole “I’ll kill them” mindset Prosciutto was trying to get across doesn’t reach fruition as Pesci tries to bait Buccellati into thinking his goal was to kill the turtle instead of the rest of the squad. The second and last issue was that Yuuichi Nakamura’s ARIARIARIARI didn’t come off too great, which is a shame because his Arrivederci was pretty fantastic.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 10: No Restraints

David Pro pulling out all the stops introducing the rest of the Assassination squad early. I didn’t expect this fight to go on for another episode but with that extended flashback, I really can’t complain. Hell, you can even recognize the silhouette of the guy who killed the assassination squad members. Anyone else recognize Bakugo’s voice coming out of Ghihaccio? Oddly fitting.

I don’t think I can say that for Narancia’s voice though honestly, his voice is still the most contentious out of me. I think the ASB voice nailed that tone so goddamn perfectly that hearing Deku’s voice trying to be a little gangsta-shit like Narancia isn’t working out at all for me yet.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 9: Call in the Squad

The deductive ability of Jojo’s mook villains are really something to be noticed.

I imagined we’d get the Assassination squad to be introduced next week but damn, they went ahead and gave us a preview of all them this week. Even Nero showed up at the back with Melone and Ghihaccio in tow. Makes sense for Pesci to not be around since Prosciutto is the getting the logistics for now. I cannot wait for that Grateful Dead fight, man.

Also, I imagined Pericolo’s voice to be a bit lighter than but this works way better.
