For those of you who actually cared about me covering Mahou Sensou (that might number between no one and no one), I basically dropped it. Simple as that. I’m still watching it for the hell of it and await to rip it apart at the season’s end.
Anyways, why the delays? My computer has suffered from near-daily blue screens and since last month, it’s literally been making sounds of a dying animal. I can’t afford to get anything new until May so I have to make do and pray that it doesn’t completely die out. Just so happens that it did and now it’s just a useless piece of crap. Programs are all gone but Library contents still exist so I just need this thing to be safe until I can afford a good labtop
Enough crying though, let’s catch up
Continue reading Nisekoi Episode 9-11: If you think we made Progress, we still have 80+ chapters to adapt
So the announcement says that Nisekoi will have 20 episodes, fun fun fun.
The harem adds one more to its roster and now we get a bit more development with a “plot” point at the very end. I’ll tell you all right now that even after the events of this episode and the rest to come, know that even after 100+ chapters, we still have no idea which key is the one for Raku’s necklace. So don’t get your hopes up.
But enough of that, let’s just get to talking about the reverse trap

Chalk up one more member into the growing love comedy harem.
Okay so I really did end up catching up to the manga and I’ll just say there isn’t really anything “big” that happens thus far. It would be unwise for the author to focus on just one girl since that would kill sales and alienate a bunch of fans that root for their favorite character. I don’t want make myself seem like some analysists but if anything, I’ll just say pull a Ichigo 100 if one person has to win it.
Anyways, let’s just talk about that new member shall we?
Continue reading Nisekoi Episode 7: Totsuka Saika is a real girl
Like I had surmised before, I really did end up reading ahead in the manga. Lo and behold, what few chapters I read with little development just became this week’s episode. But here I am speaking of little developments in a love-comedy manga/anime.
We can forget that I said that. Note that I didn’t read that far, but I do know one other girl comes to mess up the already complicated love plan between Onodera and Chitoge. So other than that, let’s go over exactly what kind of small things I was talking about Continue reading Nisekoi Episode 6: You thought Onodera was the one didn’t you?
I ask myself, why aren’t I reading the manga for this? I just know I will definitely recommend it to the people enjoying the anime right now. Speaking of the manga, the length of it definitely suggests that Onodera isn’t “that” girl. Hell, I think it even turned to harem, which might either be a good thing or bad thing depending on who you are.
But manga reviewing ain’t what I’m here for. If anything, I’ll give it my own judgement if I ever get impatient and get around to it. But moving on.

Chunnibyou doesn’t really need coverage so I decided to drop it off the coverage but I “guess” I’ll be watching. The thing is, something in my head doesn’t even want to watch it but I guess I will hear something about what it intends to bring up near its end.
Only one more series needs to try to grab my attention. Witch Craft Works is somewhat boring but at least they introduced a new character. It has one more chance or it gets dropped. Magi is being wached but I honestly didn’t keep up with it, it’ll be reviewed once again at the end of the season.
The other three are quite alright.

Since I’m somewhat delayed, I decided to ditch the summaries and go straight for my reactions.
Winter season started nearly a month ago and I was unable to keep up with it because of family members. My time got freed up and I was catching up with finalizing the Fall anime stuff. But with those out of the way, we move on to the new year with a new season.
Suffice to say, I honestly did not see too much potential with the series presented this season. Only two so far that I really like.
Here’s the extremely short list of what to expect this season
- Space Dandy: I find myself in awe of the music and visuals. The show itself is pretty entertaining considering the style of “journey beats the destination” sort of way since it has no main plot other than the episode’s premise. Watching
- Nisekoi: I honestly could read the manga to make watching this obsolete but Hanazawa-san’s voice is too good to pass up. Watching
- Mahou Sensou: The light novels are apparently very lengthy so it has be good somewhere. Waiting
- Witchcraft Works: I don’t know why I’m watching this but I can drop it as fast as I picked it up. Close
- Chunnibyou: Is Touka really worth watching an entire series for? Close
- Seitokai: I think my dirty jox gauges have been maxed out at this point….Dropped
There’s a bit more down below but the above should summarize my basic thoughts.
