So what I assumed to be actual character development with a death of a dear friend just negated itself and we’re back to the regular stuff. More fighting going on but it’s honestly not that amazing to watch.
Well at least we got an actual kiss instead of the usual harem crew ganging up on Kami-
Oh wait that happens too.
You can already tell that the quality of posts for this series from me will only plummet unless they do something different.

Well who have thought, a semi-character death.
So we’ve got introduced to two more girls while I believe we got one more human to join the harem later on. If anything, I’m actually interested to see what will happen next episode with Claire going semi-rogue with a malign spirit but I doubt it will surpass my expectations.
Wasn’t all that bad.

The series doesn’t disappoint when it comes to delivering things I have seen many times. Opening up a post with this sort of attitude doesn’t really help anybody but if anything, goes to show how tiring it gets watching things like this. I watch plenty of bad shows and every season I watch a harem but Blade Dance is seriously testing me.
It’s not all that but stuff like Machine Doll and the likes had something going for itself with some unusual gimmick whilst Blade Dance is a merge between IS and any RPG ever. Oh well, I don’t like dropping stuff too much so we’ll forge on no matter how dumber it gets. I was first promised a decent main character but judging from the artworks of the LN’s, I don’t see anything different from the average harem lead. Hell, he doesn’t even look badass either. The focus goes on to the girls’ looks that they don’t even bother making him look cool with all those swords.
I’m sorry for you reading and for me writing this.

This is seasonal harem but damn, they’re not holding back with the cliche fest. Probably wrong of me to think this way because what is a harem series without any cliches? However, I’m seeing a lot more male leads with the hidden background, extremely powerful but misunderstood type these days. The craze seemingly following Mahouka’s trainwreck of an adaptation with introducing characters that go through very little development since they are developed by a backstory instead of doing anything meaningful as the story actually progresses.
But shit, who am I kidding, it’s anime. It’s a medium to make money and girls do that, they could care less how their story and character development goes.
Let’s get right to it shall we?
