Koutetsujou no Kabaneri- A less worse Guilty Crown

The ride hasn’t stopped but we’re at our stop for now.

Kabaneri initially started off as something I overlooked as the season began and as the end of the first week drew to a close, I happened to watch it on a whim, only to be impressed by the visuals, music, and practically everything else that set everything up quite nicely. After a few weeks, it became apparent that I wasn’t the only person feeling this way about our “Shingeki no Kyojin” with zombies. In the end, I think a better comparison can be made to the studio’s previous work with Guily Crown. Compared to highschool kids fighting against an established government, I think fighting against super-zombies with steam powered weaponry ontop of trains is a way more interesting premise which ultimately leads to a more enjoyable experience.

But did it turn out decently in the end for our original studio work that grabbed everyone’s attentions for the season? Let’s find out

Spring Anime 2016 Week 3

Fully onboard the seasonal train.

Everything so far has been entertaining on their own right, well except Hundred because that’s just an obligation to watch for me to continuously rag on about battle harem series. Everything else however was pretty nice. The biggest note however goes to the earthquake that occurred in Japan last week which led to a number of series being delayed, which unfortunately included Sakomoto.

But oh well, it’ll continue the following week so let’s not waste any time and get to this week’s stuff.

Spring Anime 2016 Week 1-2

Spring is definitely a savior with it formally ushering in new year content aside from the overlapping residuals left from the Winter Season. Even I’m surprised to find myself watching this amount of shows, but I don’t think that will last all that much since some are actually teetering on the edge of being watched or dropped but we’re still a one or two more weeks away from the classic 3 episode rule but after last season, I’m feeling pretty generous.

So let’s not waste time, let’s get down to what I’m watching this season.
