The soundtrack continues to impress while the episode pulls another fast one on us.
I always end up “reviewing” the episode in the beginning instead of the end but I will just say the dancing wasn’t all that amazing other than when Dandy was on screen. The entire event needed to be like a party. I forgive this episode thanks to its insane ending and the new addition to the soundtrack.
So far we had 2 fish episodes and at least 3-4 singing/dancing episode.
So after nearly a month of inactivity due to having very little time to write anything, my folks are leaving in a week so I will be free once again. Quite honestly, I would have preferred that I wrote during these past few weeks because I honestly had no games to play. Jojo is more or less me trying to get more costumes, Wind Waker kept freezing one me, and League keeps getting on my nerves.
Thankfully the Winter Season hasn’t fully started up so I will have a chance to actually watch a few things and hopefully get a recap out on what I will watch for the Winter of 2014. Oh yeah, Happy New Year everyone. Whilst on the topic of new shows I had a few related news that I wished to share. Now, I’m not an anime news hunter but I do pay attention to some things so here are some stuff I took interest in some news during my absence
First and foremost: Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders airs in Spring. I’d be more hype and would be capslocking but I did that for a while now.
I actually like Date A Live so its Season 2 will do nicely to renew my palette after watching said Part 3 above. If you haven’t figured it out, it airs in Spring too.
Light’s favorite series is a light novel series called Mahouka and it airs in Springtime as well. Unfortunately for him, he’s the kind of guy who calls SAO anime fans who don’t read the light novels plebians (my preferred term but I don’t know what he would actually say) but he fears the SAO fanboyism effect will take place upon Mahouka as well. Thank god Jojo will never be like that.
Speaking of SAO, it’s second season is it? Whatever, the next arc being Gungale Online (GGO) is officially announced. What does the new arc bring? From what I know: One new girl and trap Kirito. Of course plot armor is bundled with it.
This one has nothing to do with new anime to come out but they finally announced a Angel Beats light novel which will hopefully bring closure to our horribly concluded cast’s backgrounds. The first part of the game will include stories for Yuri, Iwasawa, Yui, Angel, and the only guy for now Matsushita. Iwasawa had some racy looking CG and since I’ve always liked her from the start, I await with bated breath.
Galaxy Angel will continue as soon as I get the chance so that will come when it’s ready. Didn’t have too many chances to play during the break. I would do a figure post but Wonderfest is in February so we’ll wait til then. Fall posts come soon after this so look out for those.
Well that’s about it for this recap post to bring you stuff I have planned so until then. Here’s the three weeks of music I wasn’t able to post.
Fugo’s addition to the game was surprising but I still like him nonetheless. You can hear the Hendrix in his theme’s beginning seconds. Herme’s theme isn’t as rock n roll as KISS is but it’s pretty damn smooth. Pucci’s theme is my all time favorite. It’s just so rocking and foreboding. You can also hear 3 distinct parts of the song that reflects his evolvings Stand (with the third and last one being completely amazing)
“Didn’t you once say that everything should have a name? Stone Free…I want to free myself from this Stone Ocean!”
A while ago I posted my Favorite Jojo characters that excluded Parts 7-8 since I wanted to keep it everything within the more well-known universe. I mentioned that it had been a long time since I read Part 6 and exempted some characters from the list. I have since reread Part 6 and now I feel like an idiot for admitting that I forgot stuff from Part 6 when this particular saga happens to be the most eventful. So for that blunder I made, I think owe Part 6 an apology and its own post to honor it. Fate may have played into this but the 7th of December happens to be its release date so happy 10th birthday to you Stone Ocean.
So were he go folks, a “review” that is a decade late, let’s talk about the sixth saga of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Weeks 8-9 just need White Album to be done so it will be up by tomorrow for sure. Excluding that, not too many other stuff coming other than Galaxy Angel continuing through. Honestly, nothing much is going on, I’m just trying to hang on until January so I can do whatever I wish with my time.
So short announcements today since nothing as of yet is being planned for now.
Music for this rather uneventful week is the theme of Kira Yoshikage once more. This time in his final appearance of Part 4’s last arc, enjoy
Break Week. By the way, now I’m actually going to tag stuff…
Classes are being asshats because I have a few projects due a day after break ends. I essentially have today and 4 days to get them done while trying to get something out of this week and post something that isn’t a weekly recap. Speaking of recaps, I decided to tack Last week and this week since I’m caught up but I just want to bunch them up for now. Galaxy Angel just needs to be added with some detail and picture order clarifiction so that’ll be up in a bit. I scrapped my figure post because it’s just too….chaotic for me to try and make a coherent post. I did go through a cleansing just recently that idea might surface again. Also got a big Jojo post coming in so that’s a plus too.
I’m shuffling my cash as my mind tries to decide a pretty figure should be bought or if a brand new game would be the right choice. The game in question is Grand Theft Auto V and on Black Friday, it’s gonna be put on half price and it’s a marked item that is guranteed to be in stock for the first hour at Walmart. The figure is Yagyu Jubei from Samurai Girls which isn’t exactly “my” sort of series but if a figure looks good, I’ll usually fall for its charms. The version I’m eyeing is the swimsuit one and I’m deciding between the red one or the white one. I had a similar predictament when comparing another figure that happens to be in the same series, Naoe Kanetsugu. Pink or Green and I chose the latter but nevermind that.
I’ll pick something eventually because I want to get one before Christmas rolls by. Moving on to the music: We covered Akira Otoishi’s theme and now we move on to my favorite villain’s theme. This week’s theme is Kira Yoshikage’s theme from All Star Battle, enjoy.
