Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis Review- The Afro, the Pomp, and the Hungry

The wild ride comes to a close.

So ever since I saw Chaika’s Season 1 end, I saw the rise in number of these fantasy shows that finally decided to move away from highschools. Granted, a lot of them were some harems, I still enjoyed the fact we wouldn’t be see any “student council presidents” and the likes for a bit. Hell, considering what I watched this entire season, I don’t think a single highschool series got in this time. Ain’t that just quaint. Strange to think that this series happens to be one of the most entertaining things I watched this season, and probably this year.

So how in the world did a card game do it? Stay awhile, you may learn something.

Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis Episode 10&11- All the happening

I want to talk about Chaika once I learn the ending in the light novels so I will getting to Bahamut and Twintails first.

Talk about big reveals and set up for the final episode next week. I honestly expected things to take a while more but the series did a pretty good job in pacing everything around. Now I’m just wondering how they’re going to wrap everything in one final episode. Unless of course, the production studio feels merciful and gives us a season 2 which they have enough money for in the first place.

Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis Episode 8&9- Martinet is obviously the biggest bad here

I’m surprised at how everything is escalating in terms of grandeur. Both armies of Hell and Heaven are preparing themselves and Bahamut is apparently nearing its release.

I’m curious to know how this will end and if the intro is anything to go by, I know some “things” won’t happen. Either way, the end is nigh and now I just need to know what happens.

Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis Episode 7- Past Demons

Our crew begins to get closer with all the chaos going on. If anything, the music post will come in a bit

I didn’t realize how much I missed the series after seeing it again after the week’s rest. This also brings in the question of how they’re going to wrap this up seeing as how they’ve got less than half of the episode rule left to tie up any knots. They spent their time introducing everyone and setting up everything, now they just need to execute the main conflict.

If anything, this episode will set in motion some bigger and better things I hope.

Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis Episode 6- Set ups

An exposition episode while apparently we get ourselves a recap episode of all things next week. I personally see no point but oh well.

So technically, this is the halfway point -1 since Episode 7 is a recap and by that definition we finally get some things explained. At the very least, we got the good human side “allying” themselves with the crew. I pray for the best when the time comes.

Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis Episode 5- Into the Sunset on a Zombie Dragon

Let’s get myself on schedule.

Week 5 seemed to be an action packed episode for the two action series I’ve been following and I was quite glad to see them be pulled off in such a manner. It’s the classic rescue episode but with some amazing sequences near the end where, for once, a large army actually pulls something off. Thank you “not a highschool” setting.

Let’s rock

Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis Episode 4- Giant Enemy Crab

An interesting turn of events.

SnB never fails to amuse to me every week and this week’s episode was no stranger to my expectations. Something about every fantasy series and having boat rides turn into shipwrecks. Then again, it wouldn’t be eventful to just have a peaceful boat ride.

I would go on but I’m really behind on this so let’s not waste anytime and get straight into it.
