Boku no Hero Academia Episode 57&59- Lightspeed Rescue

The provisional license exam continues onto the rescue portion of the heroing business.

I ended up giving in to the fact that I’ll continue to need two episodes to cover for episodes involving this arc but with Episode 58 being an original, I don’t think I’ll be covering that. I mentioned before that I wasn’t too keen on this arc compared to the bombshell that was AfO vs. All Might but next week’s preview definitely triggered a memory and I actually know what’s coming next. At the very least I can look forward to that before we enter a rather long arc with Mirio and Overhaul that I think we won’t even see animated for quite a while.

Boku no Hero Academia Episode 50- Cooldown

Will it end by the Provisional Exam arc or maybe even the Internship Arc? I believe I mentioned this before but BnHA’s chapter to episode ratio isn’t all that enormous compared to other big manga adaptations. The first big saga has come to a close with AfO’s fights and now it’s more pro hero work with the provisional license exams pitting the students against other schools before the Internship Arc begins and we move onto to the rather lengthy Overhaul storyline featuring Nighteye, Mirio, and the titular Overhaul.

Boku no Hero Academia Episode 49- The End of an Era

As moving and full of impact as I hoped.

The OST for this series is an element I always praised about and they knocked it out of the park once again. The emotional stakes in the episode were also insanely high and these types of themes of believing in others this hard and particularly Endeavor’s despair over never being good enough is something that always rings something in me personally. Now I’m just curious where they’ll end this season on.

Boku no Hero Academia Episode 47- The Situation is not under control

Well just like I said, it seems the climax of the arc is approaching fast.

The climatic fight is either going to be the whole episode this week or one full episode and bleed into the other. I’ll probably go with the latter since Bakugo still needs saving and there’s a lot of monologues to be had with what the future holds. Can’t wait for that pointing scene though.

Boku no Hero Academia Episodes 30- Standing Tall

While the fight itself is finished, we’ve still got a whole ‘nother episode detailing the aftermaths of Stain’s defeat as well as moving smoothly along to the final arc of the adaptation with the examination period the kids will undergo. This made me remember how little Bakugo has shown up in this 2nd half of the show so we’ll be back with his fuming anger whether we like it or not. I’ll tell you right now that Bakugo isn’t going to chill out around Deku for a long while so don’t hold your breath.

Boku no Hero Academia Episodes 29- Clash

What I believe to be the climax of this arc arrives. Iida’s vengeance driven confrontation with Stain ends and as the latter is about to end the young hero’s life, Deku and Todoroki swoop in as they try and delay Stain for as long as possible. I’ll give this another episode for the fight to end and for the examination arc to start. Kind of sad it’s ending so close to an arc that preludes another amazing one but hey, this is a popular enough series I guess and I’m expecting for it to win over people with this arc so here’s hoping.

Boku no Hero Academia Episodes 25: One Stands One Falls

The Sports Competition Festival comes to its formal conclusion and while one character finds himself a starting point to greater heights, one other falls into the pits of despair as the brother he looked up to as an inspirational hero becomes hospitalized. While we’ve got just a bit before we move into our spotlight character Stain, Iida’s brief path of vengeance will soon come to light as we’ll see in the next episode where everyone chooses their Hero Names.
