Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 37: God or Demon

So at first I loaded up by seasonal review mode to talk about Part 5 but I realized that this isn’t the end, in fact, we have an hour long finale coming up for Part 5’s conclusion no doubt covering the Rolling Stones Arc that I mentioned last week. It’ll be nice to see the crew up and moving around instead of just cutting to a shot of Giorno, Mista, and Polnareff being mobsters.

So, where’s my Fugo movie?

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 36: Chase the Arrow

I’m getting confused again

I’m also remembering the existence of the Rolling Stones arc and with it so prominently shown in the first opening, the new ending, and how David Pro wouldn’t ignore something like this. I’m not sure if there are episodes to spare but it would only take around 1 episode.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 35: Mother of all Death Flags

Jesus, calm down with the aspirations Narancia.

I realize I failed to discuss the matter of the altered opening and there’s not really much to say other than it’s what I expected and I wasn’t as mesmerized by it since there’s only so much you can do with skipping time and seeing the future. In fact, I thought it would take more distortions then just that one bit near the end.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 34: Let it begin

The final arc enters its first phase as Chariot Requiem rearranges everyone’s souls.

Including the Boss’s own defenses and now everyone has to get in their heads that someone right now has the Boss’s soul inside their bodies. The question is who

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 33: Enter Diavolo

He’s here.

When I first heard his voice in the anime, I thought it was a bit less aggressive than the ASB’s but Konishi’s voice is definitely growing on me now. Of course, it helps that I’m incredibly biased for Konishi but I am liking smooth and aggressive Diavolo than completely angry Diavolo. With his introduction as well as the appearance of Chariot Requiem, the absolute mindfuck half of the final arc begins.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 32: Crusader’s Return

A little delayed due to some personal issues. Secco’s fight was a bit more involved than I remember since the most I remember is the Muda Muda page spread.

I think I made the estimate last week but I’m for certain that the series will conclude early July. I better start writing up a wrap-up since the last arc technically starts next week as the absolute clusterfuck of shenanigans involving the arrow will take place.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 31: 7 Pages

I think I mentioned before that I had some issues with the voice actors being changed from what I was used to hearing in Jojo All Star Battle. I had no issues with Sugiyama Buccellati, Akabane Mista, Sanpei Narancia, Kusunoki Abbacchio, or Hisafumi Fugo. This week I was reminded that Ono’s Giorno is indeed superior to Namikawa’s with the legendary 7-page Muda barrage was delivered with a vengeance. I always had a problem with Namikawa’s Muda’s especially but Ono’s Mudas were on point since Episode 2 and his WRYYYYYYYY is probably the best it will ever be.
