Sakamoto Desu Ga?- A Decent Adaptation

Consider this a mini-review because there’s only so much I can talk about a comedy series that focuses on a single character.

One of the very few series I happen to pick up and read before an adaptation begins happens to be Sakamoto. Around a few years ago I stumbled upon an iconic page where Sakamoto manages to sit down properly on his desk, even after his chair is pulled from him. This was one of the very few adaptations that I was looking forward too and while I doubted Studio DEEN, everyone was pissing themselves over Konosuba and with its apparent popularity, I had hopes for DEEN to succeed.

Did they indeed succeed? Well let’s take a quick look.

Spring Anime 2016 Week 12

I’ll keep things short than normal/short as per usual since there’s nothing all that new at this point than what has already been said multiple times for the past few weeks.

Spring Anime 2016 Week 11

Really behind on this one and for a few series, I think their finales are coming along this week. We’ll see how those end up and I’ll get the series reviews up and running appropriately. But things are all shaping up toward a resemblance of a finale, as they all should. I’m still wondering what series are going to be 12 episodes or 13 though.

Spring Anime 2016 Week 10

Only now do I realize how spaced apart these series reviews are going to be in the next 2-5 weeks. Hundred is going to be slightly annoying since I honestly didn’t really watch too much of it to really give it a “critical” look at it like I did with the previous harems going on. I don’t even think it’s me being critical but just having a chip on my shoulder for it.

I dread to think that I might have to watch it again to actually have a legitimate opinion. Oh well, let’s continue.

Spring Anime 2016 Week 8

Late but still going through at top speed.

The good stuff get better while the boring stuff remain trite, nothing new going around here and not like I expect the boring stuff to suddenly become great all of a sudden. I also find it pretty annoying at how all the stuff I’m watching doesn’t seem to add up all that much with the “Week of [Insert Number here]” stuff I’m doing thanks to a load of stuff happening this season.

Either way, I’d hate to be behind so let’s get going.

Spring Anime 2016 Week 5

Finally a week without delays and hiccups, took us quite a bit to get back on track.

The episode count is pretty varied all around due to said delays but we’re nearing the halfway point of the season. I hear that BnHA is actually going to be one of those longer adaptations but I could be wrong. The only thing I intend to continue without a shadow of doubt is Jojo but there’s only one real series that has the risk of getting dropped by the end of this week so we’ll see how that turns out.

But it’s good to be back on track after all this time.

Spring Anime 2016 Week 4

Let’s do this

So apparently, the reason for Kabaneri’s Episode 2 being available last week was because of the Chinese Broadcast that aired it. So this week, we got our Sakamoto back but Kabaneri’s Episode 3 will be for next week. The rest however is going as it should, for better or for worse. One series is up for the boot in getting dropped but that’s mostly because the actual journey hasn’t started yet and I’m wondering if it’ll ever set out for what it wants to do or not.

But for now, it’s safe, and by that, I’m going to give it around 2-3 more weeks. But aside from that, let’s be quick about it.
