After much delay, I’ve finally learned how to play these games in windowed mode! That’s not saying much since I have to take fullscreen shots anyway! So here we go folks, the second entry into the Galaxy Angel series. Allow me to take a quick moment to just talk about the slight changes within the game.
The changes will be obvious if I end up taking a screenshots but whatever. The graphics have improved immensely (but that ain’t saying much but they are tolerable compared to today’s games if one plays it now) and even in the dialogue scenes we have a few more “sprites” or rather more expressions for the characters. The HUD is improved and the interface while completely the same in style, it’s just a lot bigger.
In terms of actual gameplay, the dogfight sequences have a bit more “control” in a sense that you get to see everyone in the playing field. All enemies, Emblem Frames, and neutral/allies are shown on the leftmost fighting HUD. Finally, the game actually got a bit more difficult. So with that being said, let’s move on to the story.
The main menu screen music is pretty awesome. The original game had the regular rock intro but this new one is pretty catchy with its bass and jazzy tune. Anyways…

Here we go, it’s the last stretch of the game and I’ve already started the 2nd game in the series so let’s keep moving foward
I’ll go off explaining on what things changed and on a side note: I can finally Alt-Tab without the game crashing so I think we can move a bit faster with this. Anyways, let us continue and conclude the first game.
But I will say this, save + loading + screencapping was extremely annoying and while the first game wasn’t bad, it was a pretty annoying experience.

The 21st has been destroyed and now I shall continue with Galaxy Angel.
We left after I chose the semi-loli, telepath Mint and we’ll take off from there.
There’s the last chapter that needs to be done for us to be done with the first entry in the series and I will in depth about the sequels once I finish this.
With that said, let’s go
Continue reading Galaxy Angel: THE RETURN
It’s time to finally make our/my choice.
I’ll say this right now: I will NOT be consistent with the Route choices I made with in the sequel. I will be choosing a different heroine next time around.
Continue reading Galaxy Angel: Locked On
The last stretch of chapters remain but this is the point where we make our big choice.
I really want to do every route since all the characters really grew on me once I played through the game a few more times. The progress below is a conglomeration of 3 different playthroughs so yeah, you can imagine how much missing stuff I saw. Maybe eventually I will cover all routes but for now, just one (unless I change my mind before I start the 2nd game).
Anyways, let’s continue on with Galaxy Angel and its 7th Chapter.
The usage of Galleries really make it easy for me here.
Continue reading Galaxy Angel: The Choice
Due to some setbacks in my regular computer time, I guess I won’t have time to do as much Galaxy Angel as much as I had hoped. The first game is nearly done and for certain it will be finished. I had planned on doing 2-3 routes each on the next two games but the timeframe doesn’t seem to be matching up as some family are coming to town in around two weeks.
I will try to get as much as I can in those two weeks and update anyone reading on the status of the coverage
So with that, let’s finish the last of the Character specific chapters. I kind of overdid with the pictures but at the moment, I think that’s a good thing.
Continue reading Galaxy Angel: Heal Spam
Like I mentioned in the Music Post, I basically forgot most of what happened in Chapter 5 and scrambled through New Game to reach it. It took me a pretty short time and while my choices were near identical to the first run, I decided to aim for the girls I usually wouldn’t have gone for in this 2nd run. While the first game of this series will be covered with just one route, I will due a few routes in the sequels.
Chapter 5 is the “least” knowledgable chapter in the game because it deals with Forte’s lesson instead of Forte herself. While we got the idea on Milfie’s luck and charm, Ranpha’s superstition, Mint’s family, and soon with Vanilla, Forte doesn’t reveal too much of herself in her respective chapter.
Once again, apologies for the lack of pictures in free-roam section of the game, the next games won’t be too buggy
