Lemme get this post done quickly
First things first: Kore wa Zombie, Gametalk, a post about this site’s affiliate/new friend, and etc in that order shall be posted
Anyways, to make a long story short, ACEN was a complete source of awesome. Bunch of cosplay, crap to buy, and a crapton of people. Full story of my 2 and a half day expedition will probably end up in the Author’s Corner. The con was literally walking around. Looking for stuff to buy, stuff to eat, take pictures off, get autographs, attend panels. At least my crew had a nice place to rest when the day was over.
But it was the SHIT, and I spent a hundred dollars less (by not bringing my entire bag o money) than I intended. Even without the shopping scene, it was a hilarious and worthwhile experience.
Either way, I bought a picture, a mug, shirt, artbook, signed ACEN badge, a game, and a figure (which one? well, find out)

Another wednesday and Happy White Day for the Japanese/Korean world today. I would celebrate it if I actually got something 😀
Anyways news now then I will move on to the song

Back on the topic of music
We’re around halfway around the FMA themes so we’re almost there. Last week was Ready Steady Go, the 2nd opening of the original FMA. This week’s song is the 2nd ending theme, Misheard.
This video uses a “bleeding” effect. By that, I mean the ending starts while the characters are still talking, basically while the episode is transitioning into the ending itself. The video’s episodic part is the dubbed version, but FMA’s dub wasn’t abysmal but I will apologize anyway. But great song, I can still remember it to this day. I think the FMA endings 1 and 2 are the ones that stuck with me as I still find myself humming them at school.
On a closing note: I’m back into Pokemon and Sorry for not posting!
First of all, Happy Birthday to me (Feb.28th was my birthday) and Happy Leap Year….Day. The 29th of February rolls around every 4 years so…do something in your sites to make it display what you did on the 29th!
If you didn’t know, my brother is back from college and school and having him back is eating away my time at working here on this site. As much as I wish to post and use up these wonderful pictures, for the time beingI cannot. I will try my best to get the weekly releases done and a few other thing, like getting Light to post some shit. By the way, expect a post on figures again 😀 with a small top 5 list that I desperately want.
Why can I not post during my brother’s stay? Well the situation with me owning this site and my brother is basically like Oreimo, as he does not know that I mantain a site like this. Whatever, I digress
Anyways the version I wanted to go for this week’s song was the original: the one with a opening riff in the ending theme begins where it showed a few characters in stylish fashion. Fullmetal Alchemist (the original’s) first ending was probably my FAVORITE song out of the entire series of the anime, in my opinion it even beats some songs in Brotherhood. Whether it be from nostalgia from watching the video and seeing the same scenes I saw as a kid or that it’s just a good song, I cannot say (but probably both)
FMA had a LOT of good music now that I look back on it, so expect a month-worth of FMA songs, with a few Brotherhood songs at the end. The song’s following might be a tribute to Bleach as it entered its final arc, One Piece for still continuing, I also have posts planned regarding Gintama and Samurai Champloo before I upload any songs on those two series
Sorry for going off topic, here’s FMA’s First Ending.
(I love the scene where Ed stands in front of the grave)
Following Naruto’s 2nd opening, I bring you to the next opening song I really enjoyed. This is perhaps my favorite Naruto opening EVAR. It’s a good song by itself but nostalgia kicks in for me whenever I hear this song. Allow me to just paint the picture of that nostalgia. Naruto aired every saturday on Toonami back in the day. After every grueling and boring week of school, I had a game filled weekend awaiting me. Around every saturday at around 8-9 PM they would show it. My brother would be sitting down on the computer playing World of Warcraft while I turn off my games just to see this opening and sometimes the episode (I didn’t like the series too much but I always loved hearing the openings of songs). You know, there’s something about hearing opening themes on T.V and not on your PC that makes it a little…I don’t know, legit?
Anyways, as long as we are in the topic of mainstream manga, big news. Bleach is entering its final arc. Bleach has been active since 2001 and will probably end this year. Salutes to you Bleach, Tite Kubo, and all the characters who never got their swords released! Naruto and Bleach are close to ending while One Piece will continue to sail for many years to come. I wonder what series will be filling in that void. For that, after a few more Naruto songs, It’s gonna be Bleach month! Actually no, I’m still thinking on that. By the way, I will try to get Brave 10’s recap post up and as always, I will try to get Light it post too 😀
Anyways, Naruto opening 5, Seishun Kyosokyoku by Sambomaster, that plays during the Sasuke Retrieval Arc where that emo-bitch Sasuke decides to join a pedophiliac snake man and his bespectacled friend Kabuto. The first version is Japanese while the 2nd one is a Korean version I found. I like the two VERY much but the nostalgia factor of the original takes it this time around.
A day late, mostly because I was busy yesterday with schoolwork.
Well usually that isn’t really my problem when it comes to this site but whatever, Light actually made a post regarding SOPA and PIPA (mostly for the funny pictures he found online).
So this week’s song is from what I regard as the funniest highschool comedy I have ever seeen. Cromartie Highschool is a highschool life that I would love to have. Minus the part where everyone is a dumbass at least. I mean come on, a school with gorillas, robots, aliens, horses, AND Freddie Mercury. How awesome is that?
Of course Danshi Kokousei is doing a nice job entertaining me as well.
The opening is a very nice song. Has the old feel to it.
Apparently my uncle was a gangster in his younger years back in Korea. He tells me that back then, gangsters weren’t the bullies that run around in this age. Instead they basically served as the “bodyguards” of the highschool students from other schools and as such, would fight against the rival school’s gang. A sense of honor was there back in the day, unlike today’s gangsters.
Light currently is still deciding what series he wishes to cover while I’m thinking to cover Amagami or Brave 10…I will try to get our minds set up by the end of this week. So expect a 3 episode recap post from both of us.
