Rev up those fantasy engines, we’re going for a ride.
Shingeki no Bahamut comes from a fairly recent mobile game craze that’s raking in a lot of downloads and money. I’m not a mobile “gamer” but I know of its existence thanks to the large amount of high quality art the game gets. I honestly didn’t even notice the anime “adaptation” airing this season until I saw a few people talking about it. Naturally, I didn’t expect ANYTHING from a series based on a card game.
Bot goddamn, I did not expect this at all.

Before you punch me a fast one, no this is not the Yamaguchi we’re talking about, but nonetheless a moment of silence to him (even though I despised Louise).
We continue to trek through the halls of Cromartie Highschool, but today, we’ll take a breather and discuss one of many rival schools the badasses of Cromartie High attract. Armed with a stylish afro, sunglasses, and an unparalleled sense of comedy, we dive into the mind and situation of Destrade High’s Noboru Yamaguchi.
A genius within a society of idiots, his passion mistaken as something he despises. A comedic genius who sees potential in every action.

These scanlators and translators got me again when this chapter came out pretty quick (either that, or school’s making my days go by faster). Anyways, short chapter so lets begin
Well we continue where we left off from last chapter. Which basically is Shiina appearing behind Yuri and Hinata and them trying, well thinking of trying to negotiate at least. Yuri gets the attention from Shiina and gets a blade drawn on her. Read the rest of this entry
This release was rather quick in my opinion, but I guess thats just me
The chapter focuses on Noda but not too much as I actually wanted. Now that I think of it, I haven’t really gotten Ooyama’s backstory either. Anyway, the group is faced with an idiot with a dangerous weapon so they might as well see how adept he is with it. Chaa hurls Ooyama to the halberd’s edge and deals considerable damage to him. Either way, Chaa grabs on to Noda and Yuri is able to convince over that they (or rather she) is his ally. Noda says that there is a “boss” at the end of the tunnel waiting for someone. Everyone’s favorite purple headed dumbass who carries around a halberd finally makes his appearence
But only at the end of chapter.
So before i begin, i can hopefully assume that with the release of chapter 15 and with this series being a monthly updated, we have at-least 2-3 more chapters that just need to be translated. I have a confession, i like Yuri a lot more in the prequel than in the anime series. Although i like the orderly type, Yuri just has a lot more charm in her. Hmmm, i wonder if the prequel justifies her instant tsundere mode in the last episode.
So we finally break off to our main cast of Yuri, Hinata, Ooyama, and Cha who finally decided to join the team. For those being unattentive, Yuri now leads the group believing she found something important. Then the series breaked off to tell Hisako and Iwasawa’s story. In the last page of the omake chapter, we find Hinata beat to a bloody pulp.
So were to begin with this chapter?
Yuri insults Hinata for not being able to play sports pretty well (baseball doesn’t really help with Volleyball does it)
Like the title suggests, lets take this time of year to appreciate Angel Beats for its valiant effort in giving us a satisfactory package, until it backed out and gave us a crappy ending. But, without a doubt, it was a pretty good experience to watch and it had a huge cast of extremely likeable characters. Although the series’ rushed plot didn’t do them justice, we’ll highlight the Top 7 characters from Angel Beats!
Yes this is a filler post, i kinda ran out of time today. Why am i posting this? I’m trying to see if i can get out one post a day until friday then in the saturdays and sundays Light will post a few reviews of his series. Once a majority of series for Fall comes out, i will post a preview+first impression post when i can. So enjoythis one
And for once, we’re gonna include male characters. I was planning to do so with Gintama characters but i havent been really able too. So without further ado, lets start the countdown!
I actually wanted to wait for chapter 15 to be released so i can make a double review, but i guess not
Hey Hey, I guess you guys still remember Angel Beats has a prequel manga. It’s kinda nice to see how everything got together. If we can’t make a sequel, lets make a prequel amirite?
Well if you have forgotten, the 2nd volume of Heaven’s Door focuses on Hisako and Iwasawa and the formation of their band. Recall from last chapter where Hisako finally gets Iwasawa to join her in her fight to express herself as a individual through her music
The chapter begins with Iwasawa giving us a little about her past. If you don’t remember, she discovered the power song and decided to not go to college and decided to pursue a career in music. However, she got some damage to her head and she wasn’t able to talk anymore. Depressive stuff aside, Iwasawa finally arrives where Hisako made a makeshift concert stage (it’s actually anything but a stage as it only has speakers) Anyways, they start jamming out which quickly catches the attention of the students and the teachers as well
