Back on schedule.
Was absolutely swamped with work until recently so I’ve been out of it for two weeks. This also means that I only partially am caught up with spring releases which I’ll probably catch up with over the rest of the week. I’m also finally free to write up my Elden Ring thoughts although I feel as though that will also take a bit of time.
Things did however line up decently well for music discussion. Today we get a set of off-chapter shenanigans including Peach and Bowser, whose scenarios we’ve discussed briefly before. Bowser gets a couple mini-games in the vein of the original Super Mario Bros while Peach gets to go around being Solid Snake again and sneak around the X-Naut base. Instead of Twink, it’s TEC, and I grew to enjoy his character immensely even though it comes off as a bit creepy but in an intriguing way. Whereas Peach’s fun section in Paper Mario was about baking a cake, now one of the scenarios you need to do is dance with a clone hologram to teach TEC what dancing is.
