Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure- Vento Aureo Episode 1: Welcome back to Italy

At long last, Vento Aureo is here.

Truth be told, I caught the camera-recording of the first episode way back in July but now that I got to see the first episode, I’m excited to finally talk about it. And no, I will not call it Golden Wind because Vento Aureo is at least more sensible than Diamond is not Crash. Because this recap is already long, I’ll just share my quick sentiments right now, which only want to address the seiyuu changes from the game. Now, this already happened to Stardust Crusaders and DiU (of which the only person I really wanted to remain as they were was Josuke) but I’m not sure if I wanted Sugiyama and Akabane out as Bruno and Mista, hell I think the entirety of Part 5’s VAs were fantastic in the games which includes Abbachio, Narancia, and Fugo. Fugo’s VA in particular is someone I’m partial for so I’m sad he’s out. Narancia’s voice was pitch fucking perfect in the games so I’m a bit sad to see him go. I’ll hope for the best since I haven’t exactly been let down. Also, pink on Giorno is nowhere near as great as blue.

Boku no Hero Academia S3- Enter the New Era

It only now occurred to me how that was the season’s ending, guess they couldn’t kill someone off for shock value when they’ll probably do it the opening 5 minutes of the next season.

Oh you didn’t know? Season 4 already got announced much to my surprise but I guess the Overhaul Arc is pretty long for an entire season to be based around it. Seeing as though we’ll have ourselves a break from BnHA for just a little bit, let’s talk about Season 3.

Music of the Week #366

Bring it all in

BnHA ended when I completely forgot that it was just going to be a two-cour and didn’t really know if it was going to be 24 or 26 episodes, those always confuse me sometimes. Anyways, I was starting up my bi-weekly recap but started writing up the seasonal recap instead, which is honestly a lot easier since there’s less exposition to go over. The end of the season is upon us and Jojo literally starts up this Friday so I’ll try to get BnHA’s writeup quick before we switch back on over to Jojo Fridays.

To match that feeling of excitement, this week’s theme is the “special” boss theme akin to FC/SC’s Silver Will except now it’s for the 3rd. Overdosing on Heavenly Bliss is just as grandiose as it sounds and it plays during those key moments of 3rd where its literally phantasmal setting allows for much much larger and grander fights to take place than its predecessors. Easily one of my most favored themes from 3rd as it captures a lot of excitement and the atmosphere of awe.
