Praise to you DavidPro, you’ve made one of the scariest girls in the entire series look beautiful as well as made her sound so heavenly. But the scary part is that they actually did all that good stuff on Yukako. Araki’s style of female characters never really struck me all that hard but Yukako was definitely scary as all hell when she freaked out and her scariest levels of facial expressions haven’t surfaced yet.
But yeah, I’m still taken aback at how fast Koichi’s development occurs with how quick the gap between The Lock and the 2nd part of Yukako’s introduction turns out.
Josuke and Okuyasu walk home and find Koichi sitting alone at a cafe and as they’re about to call to him they spot a girl sitting next to him. Okuyasu hides and begins to get worried while Josuke observes and the two move closer on Koichi and the girl to get a better vantage point. As the two spy on their friend, Koichi himself describes his anxiety at how he of all people was asked out by a girl who Okuyasu identifies as Yamagishi Yukako. Yukako comes out saying that she likes him and would like for Koichi to answer her feelings and Koichi has a tough time trying to find the right words which has Yukako burst out in “anger” and she runs off. Koichi ponders about this until he finds his drink filled with hair and Josuke becomes suspicious.
The next day, Koichi works on his cleaning duties and Yukako stops by to apologize and asks for forgiveness from yesterday. Koichi’s assurance has Yukako back on the offensive with her advances and Koichi is scared on how to flat out tell her that her obsession with him is offputting. Another classmate tells Koichi to return to his duties and Yukako later confronts said classmate under the thought that she likes Koichi and proceeds to have her hair-based Stand choke the girl and also get herself lit on fire. Josuke and Okuyasu arrive to save her. They convene with Koichi on how to rectify the situation and the duo suggest to him that Koichi just needs to be an undesirable or give off the impression that he’ll have no bright future ahead of him to have Yukako cull off her attention.
The “bad mouthing” Josuke and Okuyasu try to smear on Koichi’s name doesn’t seem to have an effect on her but it turns out that it bothered Yukako enough to have her stalk Koichi home and appear by his room window at night to drag him off somewhere. At an unknown location by a cliff-side beach house, Koichi finds himself isolated in the home with Yukako who explains that it’s a rather famous person’s summer home that won’t be checked on for the season, leaving the two of them alone. Koichi is forcibly put through a “conditioning” phase to be made into the ideal man Yukako wants him to be.
