Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4- Diamond is Unbreakable Episode 4: Bad Company

One of the many highly anticipated fights of Part 4 comes to a close.

I’ve mentioned it before but Part 3 only had a few handful of fights that I looked forward to other than the always climatic finale that each part makes sure you never forget. Part 4 and the inevitable Parts 5 and 6 to come all have some amazing fights headed our way. But truth be told, with Bad Company over, it’s going to take a while before the next anticipated “arc” comes around. I’ll still enjoy what we get in between but I have to mention how much time they’re taking with the early portions. The Nijimura Brother’s fights are over so we get some exposition next week while we’ll probably start Koichi’s. That makes me think if they’re going to make cut things in half or not but I guess we’ll find out next week.

You have no idea how severely I’m holding back to flood this post with screencaps.

Josuke confronts Keicho inside the house but is quickly held back after Keicho’s Stand, Bad Company displays its firepower on Okuyasu who got in the line of fire. Josuke quickly punches himself and takes Okuyasu’s unconscious body outside of the house. Josuke heals him and Okuyasu is skeptical on why he did that and Josuke admits that he doesn’t want anyone to die if he can help it. Josuke re-enters the house and ascends the stairs and Okuyasu pops up again to ask why Josuke didn’t heal is hand to which he explains he cannot repair himself in an way.

Josuke finds Koichi’s body in the middle of a dark room and Okuyasu unexpectedly uses the The Hand’s ability to pull his body toward them. Okuyasu leaves and declares that he has paid his debt and promises to not interfere with Josuke’s fight against Keicho. Josuke promptly heals Koichi and Josuke soon figures out what made those bullet holes earlier after he uses a lighter to see what was moving around the room. Keicho’s Stand Bad Company take the shape of numerous toy soldiers and the duo quickly make a break for an adjacent room but find a number of mini assault choppers and tanks waiting for them. Koichi warns Josuke of the tanks and the latter thanks him for it and realizes that Koichi seems to be able to see Stands. Keicho’s voice booms from the other side of the room and he is interested to see what kind of Stand Koichi developed after being pierced by the arrow. Keicho demands Koichi to invoke his Stan and Josuke bids him to the do the same as he could be a potentially powerful ally in the fight.

Koichi is however unable to manifest anything given the situation and Keicho sends in a Green Beret toy soldier to force Koichi’s Stand out. It turns out to be in the shape of an egg but proves itself useless at the moment and Keicho’s patience runs thin and he prepares his Stand to open fire. Josuke kicks the egg and Koichi away and meets the firepower head on, attempting to close in on Keicho. Koichi’s attempts to help have Keicho knock him out and Josuke’s anger pushes him forward, something Keicho was riding on as he had his troops plant mines in front of Josuke’s position. Josuke steps on one and his leg is injured, leaving him unable to move. Keicho unleashes a barrage of missiles but Josuke sits up and deflects it, saying that he has already won. The missiles he had punched with Crazy Diamond reform together and are sent back to Keicho himself.
