One of the more disturbing fights-actually no. Alessi is most likely the most disturbing Stand fight the series has to offer since it involves child Polnareff’s penis and a much more disturbing effect on the girl who was washing his hair. I won’t spoil that much for you since there’s some extreme shock value to that.
Anyways, 2 more weeks until one of the greatest fights the series has graced us with so let’s get done with Alessi.
So apparently, Alessi strikes against Jotaro and Polnareff during the fight Joseph and Avdol are about to reach the end of their own fight. His introduction is as dickish as I remember as Alessi walks into a group of kids playing and gets his pants stained with mud and Alessi feigns kindness but yells at the child after confirming that his parents are busy. Jotaro and Polnareff investigate the hotel room and find it empty and decide to check around town to see if they’re in any trouble. Jotaro and Polnareff hit the town while Iggy decides to wander off and steals a sandwich from an unsuspecting man.
Alessi is seen stalking the younger duo and Polnareff puts in some intuition for once and decides to approach him after he senses some murderous intent coming from the strange looking man. Alessi tries to act innocent and when Polnareff decides to test if he can see stands, Alessi strikes with his Set, a shadow stand that reaches Polnareff’s feet. No direct contact is made and Alessi makes a run for it. Polnareff yells to Jotaro that he found an enemy but by the time Jotaro turns around, Polnareff is nowhere to be seen.
Polnareff chases Alessi down the busy streets and heads down some alleyways. Polnareff begins to lose Alessi in between the alleys and bumps into a man who seemingly talks to Polnareff like he’s a child and Polnareff retorts back with some anger. Polnareff finds it strange that he seems to have become weaker but a look in the reflection by one of stores reveals that he reverted to his younger days as a child. Polnareff runs into Jotaro but he is unable to remember Jotaro’s name and the former leaves him. Alessi shows himself and reveals his Set’s ability that makes people de-age by his shadow. Polnareff is propped up in a building corner and Alessi prepares to finish him off with his gun, only to have the bullets repelled by Silver Chariot, that has also been de-aged into a weaker form. Alessi draws out an axe but the flailing by Polnareff gets a piece of metal drop on Alessi’s neck and Polnareff makes out of the captured state and back into the streets.
Polnareff is noticed by a relatively older woman who decides to wash him as she think he’s lost and injured and Alessi decides to wait before confronting Polnareff. Polnareff on the other hand begins to feel that his mentality is regressing while he still feels like his regular, older self. The woman brings him to the bath to wash him and Polnareff obviously feels that something both right and wrong is happening. Polnareff relaxes as his hair is being rinsed, only to open his eyes and find Alessi being the one in the room with him.
