Things begin to enter its final stages and Hartgen’s plans are revealed.
The moment I’ve been waiting for is, in my hopes, set up at the end of this episode so I just can’t wait to see it. Speaking of that, the series has 2 episodes to close it off and since Hartgen’s plans do coincide with Gaz’s “Resurrection” one way or another, I can see them pull something with that. Either way, they’d have to mess up pretty hard to make me not like the series.
Bahamut is up, Chaika is coming, and Twintails is surprisingly working in my favor as it actually has some plot/development with one of its main heroines. Surprising but since the series has exceeded my expectations, I’m actually pleased. While that doesn’t explain why I’m delayed on talking about it, expect the “Recap” of the arc after Chaika. I still need to catch up on Yona while I’m impartial to SAO.
More stuff to come but instead of reading this, go spend time with your family.
This week’s theme is You’ve Come Far Ness. A memorable theme that plays during our crew’s stay at the home of the Mr. Saturn where they are offered “coffee”. If the crew takes up the Mr. Saturn who brewed it, they go into a psychedelic reminiscing period where they recap their adventure thus far. This also happens again later in the game where there is more to recap
Our crew begins to get closer with all the chaos going on. If anything, the music post will come in a bit
I didn’t realize how much I missed the series after seeing it again after the week’s rest. This also brings in the question of how they’re going to wrap this up seeing as how they’ve got less than half of the episode rule left to tie up any knots. They spent their time introducing everyone and setting up everything, now they just need to execute the main conflict.
If anything, this episode will set in motion some bigger and better things I hope.
The Light novels apparently bring more Chaika’s into the mix and I hear some more fun things with Gaz being a pretty cool guy too. Anyways, I doubt the anime can cover any of those with the 3 episodes left. Still, even if the first season cut a lot of things out, the show’s premise can move around things nice enough to make it still feel a bit coherent.
Anyways, somewhat uneventful and the scene I wanted still hasn’t come yet.
People love assigning loads of work before break but Thanksgiving Break is very close to Winter Break in general now so I’m a bit loaded with work until tomorrow where it’s essentially over. I got me an exam on Monday and then it’s a week off for me. For this week, Bahamut got itself a 6.5 episode that recapped what’s happened so I don’t need to address that. Chaika needs to be done and 2 Twintails episodes are up in line. You might have already noticed that I’ve stopped watching SAO all together so take that for what it’s worth.
Anyways, I’ll see what I can churn out during the break other than my weekly stuff but I’ve got work to finish.
This week’s song is Hi Hi Hi, the theme that plays in the valley of the iconic Mr. Saturn’s. I still don’t know what’s up with them.
The three teams finally converge where the last few remaining pieces of Emperor Gaz all lead to the Principality of Hartgen and its bloody tournament. I’m still looking forward to one particular scene but I still have my doubts on how they’re going to end this.
Oh well, we’ll find it out how it goes when it happens. I hope for the best.
An exposition episode while apparently we get ourselves a recap episode of all things next week. I personally see no point but oh well.
So technically, this is the halfway point -1 since Episode 7 is a recap and by that definition we finally get some things explained. At the very least, we got the good human side “allying” themselves with the crew. I pray for the best when the time comes.
