Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders Episode 22- The Fire Rises

He’s back

And he’s black.

Well with that pun I’ve been wanting to say for the longest time, let’s get on with it as we conclude the penultimate fight arc before the seasonal break

Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance Episode 7- Repeat

It’s kind of sad to see how such simplistic fights take place in a series called Blade Dance. Then again, this series is all about the girls instead of actual fighting. Strange to see IS and DAL pull off more action sequences than this.

Anyways, the episode features harem antics, slight interactions with Fianna, and some weak fighting.

Space Dandy 2 Episode 8- Dandy/Extra CCC

You can already tell classes are taking their toll on me. Since I commute now, delays will be a bit more noticeable. Either way, this week will be easy on me since it’s the beginning weeks and everything is falling into place.

This week’s episode was weird as all hell and the music was unexpectedly glorious for the setting we were in. I was partly confused while writing this but I still found it a very enjoyable and exotic episode.

Music of the Week #152

At least this is somewhat on time

Earthbound 1

Classes are starting back up and getting into rhythm of things also motivated me to keep up with writing here (which honestly is the opposite of what I expected). Dandy and Blade Dance are ready to go tomorrow and the next while the grace of the American Education system gives me this Monday off. For better or for worse, I have part-time job for that 4-day event so I’m not too free in all honest.

Either way, it’s going to get busy so I’ll have minimal time trying to play anything.

Speaking of playing games, today marks the 20th anniversary of Earthbound’s release in Japan. Being one of my all-time favorite games to play, let’s dig into its exceedingly bizarre tracks. Let’s begin with its opening credits seen after the foreshadowing of the “invasion” of Gigyas

Mini-Sword Art Online II Episode 8- Ballet or Bullet?

The Bullet of Bullets begins.

Honestly I thought it as Ballet of Bullets because that sounds a lot better and fitting but apparently the subs and the characters refer the event as the former. Oh well. Other than Kirito having more trap moments, the episode featured light action while the fun stuff happened in the last 3 minutes.

I was spoiled of the GGO arc around 2 weeks ago and I have to say that while it isn’t as stupid as the later half of SAO and the entirety of ALO, it’s still pretty silly.

Mini again because dialogue and understandable (yet repetitive) exposition really take away from me writing stuff.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders Episode 21- No substitutions, exchanges, or refunds

We’re around 2-3 episode away from the seasonal break we’re going to get.

Anyways, it’s once again a set up episode for the conclusion at the second part but it did get emotional by the end.

Either way, all hell is going to break loose next week.

Music of the Week #151

EDIT: Turns out I actually have something to do today. Non-review stuff next time. But not like you were looking forward to anything.

Less than a week remains.

WRL Jin

Classes start up on Monday and it’s going to get busy once again. I’m actually up to date with this published so I guess I can work all day today on a non-review post for tomorrow. Then the usual fanfare with the weekend trio line-up. There’s literally not much else than that going on with my life as I just await the inevitable.

Either a figure post, game talk, or just something else. I have no idea what I want to do for tomorrow either but I got a lot of drafts up and going at once.

See ya folks later and to leave and end this summer with a farewell theme, let’s have one of my most nostalgia inducing songs from none other than Champloo’s final song. Here’s San Francisco by Midicronica.
