Well my fears come alive as the following 2 episodes of Space Dandy are very hit or miss types of episodes. I guess parts of it were good but they just happen to end us as regular episodes. Regular has its own definition when it comes to describing Dandy but episodes without too many kinds of emotional moments or amazing scenes don’t really tend to get me. I realize that it’s part of its charm but once again, it’s hit or miss for a lot of people.
Either way, this is a two-parter recap so let’s not waste anytime. I will say these will be rather short.

Well I guess I have to wait a week before the famous scene comes up.
I don’t particularly remember Steely Dan’s fight being long enough to be a two-parter but the episode has convinced me otherwise. Looks like they really did need two episodes to get it done. I believe around 3-4 Tarot Stand users are left before we arrive at Egypt a little over a month’s time since there is definitely going to be two-parter fights again before we get to Egypt.
With that said, let’s cover the rather short episode of Steely Dan and the Lovers.

This is seasonal harem but damn, they’re not holding back with the cliche fest. Probably wrong of me to think this way because what is a harem series without any cliches? However, I’m seeing a lot more male leads with the hidden background, extremely powerful but misunderstood type these days. The craze seemingly following Mahouka’s trainwreck of an adaptation with introducing characters that go through very little development since they are developed by a backstory instead of doing anything meaningful as the story actually progresses.
But shit, who am I kidding, it’s anime. It’s a medium to make money and girls do that, they could care less how their story and character development goes.
Let’s get right to it shall we?

I was busy with work for the past few days but apparently I’m getting shorter times because more people are coming in to work so I have even more free time. We got an episode of Dandy and Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance and Jojo at Friday morning. Blade Dance will be coming out shortly while Dandy will be done with this week’s episode on Saturday. Then Jojo and the cycle repeats itself and of course SAO when I have to.
I’ll explain what game has put me under its thrall but I feel like I already mentioned it but either way, I’ll give a full post on that so expect that soon.
Either way, I got stuff to write so see you all later.
This week’s belated theme is Nightshift, enjoy
The conclusion of the Justice Arc
I really have to hand it to David Productions for making such a fine adaptation. Some of you may not know but Part 3 is essentially the Part 1 of the Stand-related Parts. I’ve been enjoying a lot of the fights from that manga that were honestly somewhat boring. While Justice wasn’t definitely boring, I’m just glad to have such a devoted crew make a relatively weak Part of the series into something so enjoyable.
That aside, let’s wrap up the fight.

EDIT: Litchi player taking EVO 2014 in Blazblue is probably the reason why the Litchi pic is getting so many views today. Thanks EVO!
Know that I judge SAO harshly because people still see it as the best thing ever.
I decided to take Light’s words to heart and continue on this bad road trip called Sword Art Online. A few months ago, he mentioned that the series generally gets a bit more tolerable from the GGO arc while it actually becomes decent in the later developments. Now around 2 weeks ago, he said he read through GGO and said that in hindsight, it was pretty bad as well.
To kill any expectations from this series even further, half of this episode was just Kirito and Asuna just talking. Nothing happens but to set up plot and I’d rather see Kirito interact with the dude from the extremely long intelligence agency name that can be just called, Virtual investigator. My hate aside, let’s hop into the allegedly improving arc known as GGO

Now that’s how you start a season off.
Well it’s back folks, everybody’s local, galactic screw-up and co. in another adventure through the stars. Season 2 starts off with an immediate bang instead of S1’s rather weak start. I sort of fear that this is the best of what we’ll get but I hope I am wrong. I’m essentially a week behind so let’s not waste anytime, this episode was just way too good to bundle with Episode 2.
Also, the ending should make a lot of sense for those who haven’t picked up on the message of multiple dimensions.
