Oregairu Episode 5

Following the confrontational theme that permeated this week, let’s dive in what Oregairu has in store.

Thanks to the power outage, I got this done and have ample time to study so let’s do this

Sorry, no trap pics this week 😀

EDIT: How embarassing, I didn’t finish the actual review part.

Music of the Week #84

Blarg, works piling up again

Music 8

This week and half of next week is the busiest time of the year for me and you can already see how Week 5 episodic posts are getting delayed. I finished writing up Maou and about to get started writing up Oregairu. I guess I’ll just release them on the fly with pictures added after my exams are over. So I guess it’s another double episode coverage. I can safely say that once those exams are over, I’ll be pretty much up to date with my stuff. I’ve taken a look at the summer anime line up too and…it’s pretty disappointing.

Anyways, I plan a DotA 2 and LoL centered post and the latter being more fanservice-y compared to the former. Got a lot of videogame based activies in my summer too. I plan on playing LoL a bit with my friend (playing all female champs), amassing some current-gen fighting games (once again, for the female fighters), and a collective Zelda marathon (playing all the Zelda games I have in my collection, Link’s Adventure does not count because it’s hard as balls).

ACEN is hilariously taking place after my exams so I’ll be ready to be completely unproductive in the days following my exams. I’m looking to buy myself a figure or two and hunt down a copy of Fate Extra CCC.

Speaking of Fate Extra, I got my PSP back from my friend and started up Archer’s playthrough. This time though, I’ve been paying more attention to the Arena enemies, backgrounds, and the passages they give you when you enter. I plan on making a small post for that just because I think the background ambiance in Extra is way too underlooked.

So in this week’s Fate Extra OST, it will the theme that plays after you defeat another Servant-Master pair at the end of each week. People really do show how they really are before they die and in Extra, a lot of the masters usually have something good to say, if not them, their servant does.

Remembering Love: The Delinquints of Cromartie Highschool

Remembering Love was a project started trzr23 a year or two ago that encouraged the many anibloggers to take a few days in May to rewatch their favorite series and simply talk about them. It was to commemorate why we do what we do and converse about the things we love in anime. This year, I’ll be participating in OASG Justin’s revival of the commemoration.

Since my weekends are free, I guess I will be posting in the next few sundays about whichever anime I happen to watch.

So what illustrious series shall I be rewatching? The answer lies directly above you in big letters, I shall be rewatching the antics of the so called “delinquints” of Cromartie Highschool

Shingeki no Kyojin Episode 3-4

Titans titans titans

Shingeki no Kyojin Eyes of Determination

An extremely busy week that has left me sick both physically and mentally has hindered my posting for the last 3 days. I gave it some thought and I actually like the episodic formating of the series at the moment compared to the weekly recap thing I’ve been doing (probably because this season’s shows actually go somewhere). So expect more episodic posts for now

As for the other series I’m not writing about, I’m pretty sure Hentai Ouji and Oreimo will get themselves talked about at the end of the season.

Anyways, let’s talk about Shingeki no Kyojin

Music of the Week #83

Been churning out posts, let’s get caught up!

Music 8

Only got Oregairu and Shingeki no Kyojin left. The other 3 series will basically get a small, seperate post all together. Oregairu only needs pictures to be posted so I’m going to finish that as soon as I post this. It’ll probably be finished by later tonight or early tomorrow. I think I’ll make a League of Legends post or DotA 2 post somewhere in here. League has basically grown old for me and the only lingering thing I have with it is the large sum of money I spent on skins. I’ll definitely play again with friends but actively, it’s all about DotA 2.

So hopefully, I can get caught up before the week’s end and also have time to talk about the two games I mentioned above. Other than that, I’m patiently awaiting Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle, Fate Extra CCC’s localization, and Dark Souls II. ACEN is 2 weeks and a few days away while in those 2 weeks, I have 2 exams I need to take, time to make the 3 day outing more enjoyable with some hard work beforehand to make it all the more relaxing.

Anyways, on to the music. This week is Fate Extra’s Week 6 boss theme. Week 6 featured either Rin with Lancer or Rani with Beserker depending on who you saved. For me, this was the hardest boss fight in the game (excluding Shiki) but the scenery and the theme made the fight all the more enjoyable, even if I had to continue around 4 times.
