Music of the Week #87

Somewhat caught up I guess, but whatever.

I’ll go out on a limb here and say this is one of the best seasons I’ve had the pleasure of watching. While the seasons with Jojo and Fate Zero a year ago were exhilerating, I guess I just love the action provided by Shingeki no Kyojin, the comedy from Maou, and the social analysis from Oregairu. Summer is suprisingly packed with some series I wish to check out but that will be addressed when we get there.

My extreme boredom with my game collections prompted me to download a game I had when I came back to the states, Dawn of War: Dark Crusade just creeped into my head and I started playing it again. I thought it was fun back then, but easy mode just made things too easy…while on normal or hard, you’re expected to go against some tough stuff, but I enjoy the challenge now.

Me and Light quite literally spent the entirety of last Saturday talking about figures. Speaking of that, I delayed that post due to the amount of repitition on my list, but I decided to write a new one focusing on the new ones I haven’t talked about.

So on this week’s music is the more advanced dungeon theme of Fate Extra’s Arena. As you and your servant delve deeper into the wonderfully detailed Arena (of if you prefer, The Chimeric Lunar Sea) this theme plays in the 1st level of the Arenas after a certain period. It’s one of my favorite themes in the game and is probably my favorite Arena theme in the game as well.

Summer Anime 2013 QuickPicks

This is extremely short

It’s going to be fanservice season for me, so I guess the picture count is gonna be skyrocketing, I’ll call Light to see if he can help.

Spring was a breakout season in my opinion but due to that, summer seems pretty laid-back. It’s more new seasons than actual new shows I’ll be watching. While that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I guess I’m just waiting in bated breath for the next big thing to take my breath away, that or I’m just waiting for Stardust Crusaders

??????????????????????????

Date A Live Episode 7-8

With useless fillers out the way, we enter Kurumi’s arc. Prepare for pretty black haired girl with bangs and tons of murderous blood. I completely rushed through this because nothing happened that hasn’t been seen already. New encounter, dates, wooing, but for once, the target seems well versed in the human world. Then we have a little sister fight going on, oh boy.

To get right into it, we’re introduced to another AST member who is armed with a different styled armor. Origami gets into a serious fight with her during training sessions. Later, briefing begins and the girl recognizes Shidou from a video and calls him her brother. Origami inquires her about this and we got ourselves an insignificant conspiracy

More posts to come

After being drenched by a summer squall this afternoon, I got myself a headache. While my educational workload does not near high quantities, it’s still a hefty amount to get done. However, I got myself working on some posts and Date A Live just needs its pictures while Shingeki no Kyojin should be up before we hit Saturday. I’ve gotten myself locked on to one Gametalk but for some reason, I get more tired that I should during nighttime so I’ll look into getting the Gametalk done when summer starts. Obligatory Figure/ACEN posts will come by this week as well.

This week’s music is the very first Dungeon theme in the Arena for the first few weeks of Fate/Extra. While not my favorite track, it was catchy enough to be caught in my head for a bit. Plus, this is one of the themes you grind to, so it fits pretty nicely while you farm enemy programs.
