Hello! Your favorite yellow person here, off his lazy ass and here to type to you all about a series we all love and hate, Baka to Test!
I have to say, of the four episodes out right now, 3 and 4 were the better of the four (and 4 was the best).
So before we start this long-awaited review (excuse me for my laziness), let’s recap what happened in the previous episode (2). Actually, no. We’re just gonna move on, because episodes 2, 3, and 4 aren’t connected to each other. It doesn’t have a central plot, so it doesn’t really matter what happened last episode. But if you really wanna know, go read the review here.
The episode 3 review begins here.
Here we are, on episode 2 of Baka to Test to Shōkanjū Ni!, and we have yet to see any real plot. Honestly, I’m wondering if this season will be pure fanservice, seeing as there has been no school, no beings, etc. Let’s get down to business, though.
Episode 1: Akihisa and his friends go to the beach. The guys and gals have an argument, with the gals saying that Yuuji and Yoshii have never and never will hit on a girl successfully. Later, Yoshii and Yuuji see Voyeur/Kouta hitting on girls (unintentionally) with his camera. With this, the pair of boys decide to prove the girls wrong by hitting on girls. They fail miserably, and the girls find out. Yuuji and Yoshii are in for a big punishment.
The episode starts off with Yoshii in front of a river, one we all know leads to death. River Styx. He’s wondering what the hell he’s doing here, when three ghosts pop up and try to lure him over.
Unlike a few seasons ago, i decided to watch the majority of the animes released this summer, and this detailed post will let you know on what me and Light thinks about most of the animes out. I can expect a lot of dropped series, because i like to limit myself, and i got work in a week NOTE: the first episode of IDOLM@STERS will be reviewed in next weeks, i want to decide which series i will cover
If you haven’t noticed: Baka to Test II, Mayo Chiki, and R-15 is being covered by Light and i am watching them as well
Baka to Test to Shōkanjū is finally back along with your favorite idiots (and/or geniuses)! And with it is an exciting new season for us, full of more comedy sprinkled with romance. This is a review of Episode 1 of Baka to Test to Shōkanjū 2.
The episode starts off with our baka protagonist, Yoshii, and his sister as they plan a trip for 9 people. She asks who these people are, and thus he is in quite the predicament, as his sister has forbidden him to make friends with girls (although he invited 4 of them!) He claims that the remaining 4 are a se-c-ret, and his sister threatens to slap him.
*Note: I’m only reviewing this series to get it out of the way for Season 2.
This series, Baka to Test to Shōkanjū, literally translates to: “Idiots, Tests, and Summoned Beasts” and revolves around Akihisa Yoshii, probably the stupidest and most dense boy on the entire planet, who attends Fumizuki Academy. This academy is very prestigious and has a hierarchy of 6 classes according to one’s academic ability.
