It’s like K-ON! only with around twice the girls, and also around 5 important guys
I’m sorry, I just had to
Fear not, I haven’t forgotten about this series.
Yes i know that i neglected the series, but only 5 more weeks to go right?
I guess I just ain’t the fan of “cute girls doing cute things” Although i fairly enjoyed their concerts, I just can’t seem to go about seeing them do random crap. I seriously thought of dropping this series, but with over half the series finished, i might as well try to endure the most of it, besides, who would dare let a series about singing and idols end with a wimper right? I expect an epic final episode
Anyways 5 episode packed into one, I apologize for this but don’t expect anything great from me regarding idolm@ster Read the rest of this entry
First off I want to apologize for my absence last weekend, I was horribley sick with excruciating headaches but I’m fine now
Honestly, I think I’m expecting way to much from this series.. Going off in random tangents from the main story (which was ambiguous from the start) doesn’t feel right with me, so I guess I would be lying when I say I’m not particularly overjoyed to review a each episode, we have 11 more to go
This week was actually pretty demanding for me, tests and quizes flying off everywhere but the main bulk of it has been weathered, and I made it through just fine, with a few dissapointments, but nothing official just yet
You know what? Every artist/writer has to pull a Deus Ex Machina sometime right? Time to do a new form of reviewing:
As you know, I do episodic reviews in a fashion of going through the entire episode while Light follows the same fashion only that he loooves taking pictures and sometimes to picture infested reviews. So my original style is more of a coverage than an ACTUAL review. But for this kind of series where I don’t really need to cover something in order for you guys to understand (basically stuff without a straightlaced plot line) I will just give my thoughts and ideas on the episode itself and of course: pictures.
My reaction to episode 13
Yes it’s finally here, they finally perform, not RK, but the rest of cast finally are given the chance to sing.
Buuut, that doesn’t mean this episode was perfect although it was close to compared to the rest of the other episodes. Anyways, due to the episode mostly being concerts, there won’t be TOO much to write.
Finally a Miki centered episode, too bad I picky about the clothes she wears, i love the white shirt she had on during her phonecall with the Producer. Lemme be honest right now, i’m tired of hearng Ryuguu Komachi this and that. As much as i like Miki, she needs to buck up
Well it wouldn’t be a complicated series if it didn’t have any conflict right? Lets get right to it
We left off where Ritsuko gives the message that R.K is a 3 (wo)man band wagon and Miki can’t really join. For a the next few days, Miki does not show up for practice which everyone is worried about. The Producer is kind of in distress as she tries to remember why Miki calls him a liar and talks it over with Ritsuko. The Pro.finally remembers the time when he was on the phone and literally just tried to swat Miki away. So after finding the problem out, he tries to gain contact one more. The Producer finally manages to get a call to Miki and she finally answers.

Oh look, a (wild) subplot has appeared
Well, it does look like this has 25 episodse. FFS…oh well, i guess i have to cover it. Alright, let me stop talking and get this on the road
So lets not waste anytime, i got a post that i wrote beforehand that i need to post after this
Fine, i’ll stop talking
So, Haruka starts off our episode, and lookie here, she’s in her school uniform. Maybe it’s just me, but the school uniform makes her look cuter. Anyways, apparently Haruka and a few other girls have exams coming up. Haruka and Yayoi (who also is troubling over exams) being to study. Just like the guy he is, the Producer finally gets them a job. What interesting timing. Oh yeah what job was it? oh nothing just a LIVE PERFORMANCE.
A little bit better than the episodes preceding it, but with only 2 episodes left…?, it will be hard to convince me that this series was worth watching.
Lets skip the pleasent and sarcastic introductions we always do. Schools going on blah blah, i’m pretty sure you’re tired of hearing that.
Lets get going on this (small note: lack of pictures because i’m trying to save space)
So apparently, theres a little athletic competition for rising stars. This obviously pits rising idols and stars against silly physical challenges. Expectedly, our crew at the 765 Pro is there to participate. The President and Otonashi (is once again) staying behind. I immediately expected the girl in top physical shape to be either Makoto or Hibiki and the least athletic being Iori or Yukiho…
And lo and behold Iori and Makoto bicker for almost the entire episode. The 765 Team apparently isn’t doing so well in the events.
Well, Azusa runs with those pairs slowing her down. While the team waits for her expected loss for being at last place (they literally have the mindest of this: She lost but hey, she got a crapload of attention on her.) And with Azusa’s return Iori complains to Makoto.
